Terms of Service

These terms govern use of this website and, together with the order documentation signed with your firm, the FlowLeap service. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement takes precedence.

The service

FlowLeap deploys AI colleagues that execute recurring accounting workflows across systems your firm connects, and deliver completed work to a review queue.

The service is provided to accounting firms and their authorised personnel. It is not intended for consumer use.

Review, approval and professional responsibility

FlowLeap prepares work. Your firm reviews and approves it. Posting to a ledger, sending client communications and submitting returns require approval by a named reviewer.

FlowLeap does not provide accounting, tax, audit, legal or other professional advice, and does not hold professional responsibility for work performed by your firm. Your firm remains responsible for professional judgement, sign-off and compliance with its own regulatory obligations.

Your responsibilities

Ensuring you have the right to grant the system access you configure, and that your engagement terms with clients permit processing by an operator.

Keeping credentials secure and managing which of your people hold reviewer and administrator rights.

Reviewing output before approving it, and not relying on the service to produce work you have not reviewed.

Data and ownership

Your firm and its clients retain ownership of all client data. Your existing ledger remains the system of record.

Workflow definitions, SOPs and configurations created for your firm remain documented and exportable, and belong to your firm.

Client data is not used to train general-purpose models. FlowLeap retains ownership of the platform, and of aggregate, de-identified operational metrics used to improve it.

Trials

A controlled trial runs for two months. The initial shadow phase typically takes approximately two weeks, followed by verified live execution and expansion. Scope, workflows and client groups for the trial are agreed in writing before it starts.

Fees, term and termination

Fees, payment terms and the term of service are set out in your order documentation.

Either party may terminate in accordance with that documentation. Access can be revoked by your firm at any time. On termination we delete or return your data in line with the Privacy Policy and your agreement.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available and monitored, and will notify firms of planned maintenance that materially affects processing. Any specific service levels are those recorded in your agreement.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's aggregate liability is limited as set out in the signed agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, unless the signed agreement specifies otherwise.
